In power transmission technology, planetroll® is with the plaromaster® MR one of the world’s leading manufacturers of variable-speed gearboxes for use in explosion-proof areas according to ATEX 95. With our measurement technology and control engineering – the electronic speed control plarotronic® and the electronic torque meter plaroTorque® – we offer you a worldwide unique system.
Furthermore, we develop and produce planetary gearheads in standard and special executions:
- the well-established planetary gearheads planetdrive® PD
- our stainless-steel planetary gearheads planetdrive® VPD
- as well as our low-backlash planetary gearheads planetdrive® PDH
Furthermore you will receive servo control engineering, geared motors as well as special gearboxes for custom-designed solutions by planetroll®.
Stirring and agitating technology and plant engineering by planetroll®
In stirring or agitating technology, our customers benefit from our decades of experience in the development and design of stirrer and agitator drive units. As a system supplier and specialist in the Ex-range and also further standards (GMP, FDA, BISSC, NSD/USDA-H1, silicone-free), here we plan, develop and build complete solutions for plants – from consulting, through design, construction and manufacturing, to the installation and commissioning of the stirrers and agitators.

Thanks to the planetroll® building block principle, your plant will be customized in all components. Starting with variable-speed and constant-speed drive units (variable-speed gearbox plaromaster® MR, frequency controlled geared motor, geared motor with constant speed), over the stirring or agitating control and the stirring or agitating shaft to the best suitable impeller (blade impeller, propeller impeller, hollow-shaft impeller – such as RuvaStar® and many more).
