Explosion-proof agitator units with EC-Type Examination Certificate for ATEX zone 0 and 1

The complete product range of planetroll® agitator units is available in explosion-proof execution (ATEX 95).

In due consideration of ATEX Directive 94/9/EC (ATEX 95), all planetroll® agitator units of type

• Top-mounted agitator units ARW
• Hobbock agitator units HRW
• Container agitator units CRW
• Stand agitator units SRW
  

are certifed for use in explosive atmospheres

• Zone 0 (category 1) internal space of agitator vessel
• Zone 1 (category 2) agitator environment
  

Major essence of certified zone separation 0/1 are the two planetroll® developments
agitator lantern RLZ and sealing flange DFZ.

Constant speed drive units such as frequency converters or variable-speed drive units such as planetroll® variable-speed gearboxes of various frame sizes are used as explosion-proof drive units for ATEX agitator units.
